Cryptocurrency custodian company BitGo, Inc. was contemplating an initial public offering listing later this year, according to a media report on Tuesday.
What happened: The California-headquartered company was in talks with potential advisors for a listing that could come as early as the second half of 2025, Bloomberg <a href="https://www.bloomberg.com/news/articles/2025-02-11/crypto-custody-firm-bitgo-said-to-weigh-ipo-as-soon-as-this-year">reported</a>, citing sources familiar with the matter.
Discussions about the IPO are ongoing, and no final decisions have been made. BitGo didn't immediately return Benzinga's request for comment.

BitGo Reportedly Considering IPO Later In 2024—Crypto Custody Company Lays Claim To $100 Billion In Assets

EV giant Tesla Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/TSLA#NASDAQ">TSLA</a>) has released its full self-driving (FSD) driver assistance technology, previously limited to the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/tech/25/01/43326943/elon-musk-is-kind-of-glad-many-didnt-pick-up-a-tesla-fsd-subscription-heres-why">U.S. and Canada</a>, in Mexico. 
What Happened: &#8220;¡Hola México!,&#8221; Tesla wrote on one of its affiliate profiles on X, confirming posts from Tesla users in Mexico that FSD is now available in the country.

Tesla had previously said that the company would gradually make FSD available to customers in select countries outside of the U.S. and Canada. 
Warning For Tesla Drivers In Mexico: FSD presently requires active driver supervision and does not make the vehicle autonomous as suggested by the name of the technology. 
The company, in its owner&#8217;s manual, warns drivers using the technology in newly eligible countries to be &#8220;overly cautious.&#8221;
&#8220;Because every country contains unique infrastructure, driving behaviors, and traffic patterns that&nbsp;Full Self-Driving (Supervised)&nbsp;must adapt to over time, it is essential for drivers using&nbsp;Full Self-Driving (Supervised)&nbsp;in newly eligible countries to be extra attentive and overly cautious. You must be ready to take over safely at any time,&#8221; it says. 
Why It Matters: In September, Tesla said it will roll out FSD in Europe and China in the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/24/09/40724069/tesla-fsd-rollout-in-china-europe-planned-for-q1-2025">first quarter of 2025</a>, pending regulatory approval. 
However, Tesla CEO Elon Musk said in January during the company&#8217;s fourth-quarter earnings call that regulations are preventing the launch of FSD in both regions.
&#8220;Europe is a layer cake of regulations and bureaucracy, which really needs to be addressed,&#8221; Musk said while adding that he does not see FSD being launched in Europe in the first quarter as previously promised. 
In China, meanwhile, the company is faced with other &#8220;challenges.&#8221; While China doesn&#8217;t allow training videos from Tesla vehicles in the country to be transferred back to the U.S., the U.S. government doesn&#8217;t allow the company to train the software in China, Musk said, terming it &#8220;a bit of a quandary.&#8221;

Tesla Releases Supervised Full Self-Driving In Mexico, Says 'Hola' To Local Drivers

Coca-Cola Company&#8216;s (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/KO#NYSE">KO</a>) fourth-quarter earnings <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/02/43623639/coca-cola-pops-in-q4-revenue-soars-6-ceo-hails-all-weather-strategy">exceeded</a> expectations amid strong &#8220;fundamentals&#8221; despite currency headwinds and a significant market share grab from its rival PepsiCo Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PEP#NASDAQ">PEP</a>).
What Happened: &#8220;We won overall share and had broad-based share gains across our global beverage categories,&#8221; said James Quincey, the chairman and CEO of the beverage company.
The company&#8217;s robust 2024 results, which included volume growth, robust organic revenue growth, and comparable gross and operating margin expansion, underscore this positive momentum.

While sparkling soft drinks continue to perform, the company is seeing &#8220;momentum in other categories like value-added dairy and tea,&#8221; demonstrating a successful diversification strategy, added Quincey.
Furthermore, Maaza, a mango-flavored fruit drink brand in India, surpassed the $1 billion milestone in that country, it is &#8220;now our 30th billion-dollar brand,&#8221; the management said.

Why It Matters: Coca-Cola <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/02/43623639/coca-cola-pops-in-q4-revenue-soars-6-ceo-hails-all-weather-strategy">beat</a> its fourth-quarter sales and earnings per share estimates, reporting $11.5 billion in revenue and $0.55 EPS. The company projects 5-6% organic revenue growth and 8-10% currency-neutral EPS growth for fiscal year 2025, though overall EPS growth is expected at 2-3%. Free cash flow is forecast at approximately $9.5 billion.
&#8220;Given the strong momentum of our business, we&#8217;re confident we can deliver on our 2025 guidance and longer-term objectives,&#8221; added CEO Quincey.
However, the first quarter net revenue is expected to include a 3-4% currency headwind.
CFO John Murphy said, &#8220;We have an unwavering priority to grow our dividend as we&#8217;ve done for 62 consecutive years.&#8221;
Additionally, this year, for &#8220;the first time,&#8221; the Coca-Cola Christmas ad was created with generative AI, which led to a &#8220;faster&#8221; production at a &#8220;lower cost&#8221; said Quincey. &#8220;The power of emerging technologies like generative AI are still at early stages and we will continue to lead and iterate our approach,&#8221; he added.
Price Action: The shares rose by 4.73% to $67.60 apiece on Tuesday and slid by 0.67% in after-hours, whereas the exchange-traded fun tracking S&amp;P 500 index, SPDR S&amp;P 500 ETF Trust (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/SPY#NYSE">SPY</a>) rose 0.076%.
KO shares have gained 9.31% on a year-to-date basis, whereas it was up only by 13.23% over the last one year.
The average price target among 24 <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/KO/analyst-ratings">analysts tracked by Benzinga</a> is $71.3 with a ‘buy' rating. The estimates range from $64 to $80 apiece. Recent ratings from RBC Capital, Jefferies, and JP Morgan suggest a $71.33 target, implying a potential upside of 6.23%.

What happened: The Wall Street giant reported a significant stake in Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (BATS:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/FBTC#BATS">FBTC</a>), with 3.53 million shares valued at $288.01 million. Goldman Sachs bought an additional 1.8 million shares of FBTC in the fourth quarter ending Dec. 31.
Additionally, it increased its exposure to the iShares Bitcoin Trust ETF (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/IBIT#NASDAQ">IBIT</a>) to $1.27 billion after scooping up an additional 11.30 million shares of the world's largest Bitcoin fund.
Interestingly, the bank sold its entire stake in the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (BATS:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ARKB#BATS">ARKB</a>) and reduced exposure to the Grayscale Bitcoin ETF (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GBTC#NYSE">GBTC</a>).

Goldman Sachs' total Ethereum ETF exposure reached $476.5 million at the end of the fourth quarter, a massive increase from a little over $25 million in the previous quarter.

What Happened: Musk earlier this week announced a bid to acquire the company. However, a source familiar with the situation told Reuters that OpenAI's board has not received any formal proposal.
Musk's attorney, Marc Toberoff told the publication that a four-page Letter of Intent outlining the bid was emailed to OpenAI's legal representatives at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen &amp; Katz.

Internally on Monday, Altman said that though the board had not formally reviewed the offer, it intends to reject it.

Currently, Social Security taxes only apply to income up to $176,100 in 2025, meaning high earners stop contributing after that threshold. Raising or removing the cap would require top earners to pay more and increase their eventual benefits.
Another widely supported measure is gradually increasing the payroll tax rate from 6.2% to 7.2% for both workers and employers. The incremental change would generate more funding without significantly burdening middle-class Americans.
<h2 class="wp-block-heading">The Myth of Working Longer as a Solution</h2>
While some believe people should work longer to improve retirement security, Ghilarducci strongly disagrees. &#8220;Not everyone is living longer,&#8221; she explained. While wealthier Americans in white-collar jobs often have longer life expectancies, many blue-collar and service workers face declining health due to physically demanding work, stress, and economic hardship. &#8220;A lot of jobs that aren&#8217;t blue-collar have become pink-collar … requiring a lot of heavy lifting, stooping and bending. Those jobs break bodies down,&#8221; she said.

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">A New Retirement Plan for Millions</h2>
Ghilarducci also backs a national retirement savings plan that would automatically enroll workers who don&#8217;t have access to employer-sponsored pensions. The Retirement Savings for Americans Act would create a government-administered pension plan with mandatory contributions. Workers earning below the median income would receive a 5% government match, helping them build long-term savings.
She argues that this model, which resembles pension systems in other developed nations, is far superior to the current 401(k) system, which she calls a &#8220;mistake.&#8221; &#8220;<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/content/43571028/inflation-proof-your-retirement-why-401-k-s-may-fall-short-and-what-to-do-instead">The 401(k) system was a mistake</a> if it was meant to be the retirement system for all Americans.
