Goldman Sachs analyst Lizzie Dove reiterated a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/quote/VIK/analyst-ratings" rel="noreferrer noopener">Neutral rating</a> on the shares of Viking Holdings Ltd (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/VIK#NYSE">VIK</a>) and raised the price forecast from $49.00 to $51.00.
VIK experienced a slight slowdown in bookings during February, following a <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/03/44254442/viking-holdings-beats-on-q4-earnings-says-88-passenger-cruise-days-for-fy25-already-booked" rel="noreferrer noopener">strong fourth-quarter performance</a> and record bookings in January.
Despite this, the company is 88% booked for 2025, with inventory for the year almost sold out. While February&#8217;s softness may reflect a pull-forward in spending during the holiday season, the luxury market exposure provides protection in case of a prolonged consumer slowdown.
Overall, VIK&#8217;s strong booking visibility and high-end clientele offer a buffer, and pricing is expected to align with projections for 2025/2026.

As of now, 88% of 2025 capacity is sold with a 7% year-over-year pricing growth, maintaining the same pace as the previous quarter.
VIK&#8217;s fourth-quarter vessel operating costs, excluding fuel, increased by 0.4% year-over-year, driven by higher capacity days from an extended river season, which provided fixed cost leverage.
While similar cost management may not continue in 2025, some cost leverage from SG&amp;A is expected, assuming the consumer environment doesn&#8217;t worsen, said the analyst.
Over 90% of VIK&#8217;s revenues come from ticket sales, reducing reliance on more volatile onboard spending and 2026 shows growth both in volume and pricing.
In short, VIK maintains strong visibility into future trends, and the extended booking curve offers more flexibility in navigating the uncertain macro conditions.
The analyst continues to favor VIK&#8217;s exposure but will remain cautious until more evidence of 2026 pricing surfaces, which is expected to come up in the next quarter.

<li>CD4 cell counts also increased from baseline to week 26 in both groups.</li>

The Phase 2a GS-US-382-5445 trial enrolled 20 South African cisgender women who had received antiretroviral therapy (ART) soon after acquiring HIV and were virologically suppressed for at least 12 months.

According to the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA), Tesla&#8217;s new car registration&nbsp;in the E.U. fell by over 50%&nbsp;in January despite a rise in overall battery electric vehicle registrations.
According to the Society of Motor Manufacturers and Traders (SMMT) data, Tesla had <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/tech/25/02/43520687/byd-overtakes-tesla-in-uk-after-elon-musk-led-ev-makers-new-vehicle-registrations-drop-in-january" rel="noreferrer noopener">1,458 registrations in</a> January in the U.K., down from the 1,581 registered in 2024. BYD Co (OTC:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/BYDDY#OTC">BYDDY</a>), in comparison, had 1,614 registrations, up by 551%.
Tesla researcher&nbsp;Troy Teslike&nbsp;said the EV company would likely not deliver 500,000 vehicles in a quarter in 2025, citing <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/tech/25/02/43967968/tesla-unlikely-to-deliver-500000-evs-in-a-quarter-in-2025-says-researcher-doesnt-seem-possible-this-year-either" rel="noreferrer noopener">brand sentiment issues</a>.
On the flip side, Tesla chief Elon Musk&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/markets/equities/25/03/44269513/elon-musk-says-tesla-will-double-us-production-in-2-years-after-trump-backs-ev-giant-amid-stock-slump" rel="noreferrer noopener">has announced that</a> Tesla&nbsp;will double vehicle production in the U.S. within two years.

According to <a target="_blank" href="https://www.statista.com/outlook/mmo/electric-vehicles/united-states" rel="noreferrer noopener">Statista</a>, the EV market in the U.S. could generate revenue of $104.7 billion in 2025 <a target="_blank" href="https://www.statista.com/outlook/mmo/electric-vehicles/united-states" rel="noreferrer noopener">and grow at an annual</a> rate (CAGR 2025-2029) of 10.53%, resulting in a projected market volume of $156.3 billion by 2029. Ciena Corp (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CIEN#NYSE">CIEN</a>) shares were climbing Wednesday after the company announced <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/news/earnings/25/03/44245291/ciena-q1-earnings-revenue-and-eps-beat-estimates-ceo-eyes-ai-cloud-network-tailwinds">upbeat fiscal first-quarter results</a>.
The company reported its results amid an <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/earnings">exciting earnings season</a>. Here are some key analyst takeaways.
<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Needham On Ciena</h1>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/5bab9cad211e200001963493/ryan-koontz">Analyst Ryan Koontz</a> maintained a Buy rating while reducing the price target from $95 to $90.
Ciena's quarterly revenues grew 3% year-on-year to $1,072 million, beating consensus of $1,052 million, Koontz said in a note. Non-GAAP earnings of 64 cents per share were well above expectations of 41 cents per share, with gross margins coming in much higher than expected, he added.
Some investors grew concerned as management's fiscal second-quarter guidance was only in line with expectations, the analyst stated. "Strong execution paired with best-in-class technology and customer relationships should see CIEN continue to gain meaningful market share in its core TAM, although we are less bullish on its two new product segments," he further wrote.

<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Rosenblatt Securities On Ciena</h1>
<a href="https://www.benzinga.com/analyst-stock-ratings/analyst/628b6bab3547bd000104dc00/mike-genovese">Analyst Mike Genovese</a> reaffirmed a Neutral rating while cutting the price target from $79 to $73.
Ciena's healthy quarterly results were highlighted by strong orders, backlog build and gross margins, Genovese said. He added that the company's revenue guidance for the fiscal second quarter was not as strong as the beat.
Management maintained the full-year gross margin guidance at 42%-44% despite the first-quarter gross margins of 44.7%, which exceeded consensus by 270 basis points, the analyst stated.
The Street seemed to be concerned about the impact of tariffs and "demand destruction" from a potential recession this year, he further wrote.
<h1 class="wp-block-heading">Stifel On Ciena</h1>
