Photronics, Inc (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/PLAB#NASDAQ">PLAB</a>) stock dropped on Wednesday after the company released its <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/g45639787/photronics-reports-second-quarter-fiscal-2025-results-and-announces-ceo-transition" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">second-quarter financial report</a>.
The company reported an adjusted EPS of 40 cents, missing the Wall Street view of 48 cents. In addition:

<li>Quarterly revenues of $211 million are down 3% year-over-year.</li>
<li>Sales missed the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/earnings" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">analyst consensus estimate</a> of $212.07 million. The revenue decreased by 1% Q/Q.</li>
<li>Integrated Circuits (IC) revenue was $155.9 million, down 3% Y/Y.</li>
<li>Revenue fell by 1% Q/Q.</li>
<li>Flat Panel Displays (FPD) revenue was $55.1 million, down 2% from&nbsp;last year&#8217;s quarter. The revenue fell by 5% Q/Q.</li>
<li>The gross margin improved by 40 bps to 36.9%. The operating margin climbed by 60 bps to 26.4%.</li>
<li>Operating cash flow was $31.5 million in the quarter under review</li>
<li>Cash&nbsp;invested in organic growth through capital expenditures was $60.5 million.</li>
<li>Cash and short-term investments balance at&nbsp;the end of the quarter was $558.4 million, with $2.7 million in debt.</li>
<li>Node migration remains a positive driver of its IC business at both the high and higher end of the mainstream.</li>

CEO Transition: CEO Frank Lee has stepped down from his role as CEO. As a board member, he will focus on the company&#8217;s Asia operations and remain chairman and president of Photronics&#8217; PDMC subsidiary in Taiwan.
Board chairman George Macricostas will immediately assume the additional role of CEO. 
Outlook: For the third quarter, Photronics expects revenue of $200 million–$208 million below the <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">analyst consensus estimate of</a> $219.76 million). The company expects adjusted EPS of 35 cents and 41 cents below the analyst consensus estimate of 50 cents.

SAN DIEGO, May 28, 2025 /PRNewswire/ --&nbsp;Illumina Inc. (NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ILMN#NASDAQ">ILMN</a>) today announced an expanded clinical oncology portfolio, unlocking the next new solutions to advance precision oncology and improve the standard of care. The company's broad range of clinical offerings will accelerate access to precision oncology for more patients with cancer. Illumina tumor profiling and in vitro diagnostic (IVD) solutions will be on display at the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Annual Meeting in Chicago.
TSO Comprehensive is now covered under Medicare plans by the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services (CMS), as well as most commercial health plans.

Capri Holdings Limited (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/CPRI#NYSE">CPRI</a>) shares are <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/movers" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">trading lower on Wednesday</a> after reporting fourth-quarter adjusted earnings per share of $4.90 loss, <a href="https://www.benzinga.com/pressreleases/25/05/b45639322/capri-holdings-limited-announces-fourth-quarter-and-full-year-fiscal-2025-results" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">missing the Street view of 14 cents loss</a>. 
Quarterly sales of $1.035 billion (down 15.4% year over year) outpaced the analyst consensus estimate of $986.57 million. On a constant currency basis, total revenue decreased 14.1%.
Gross profit was $631 million, down from $767 million a year earlier. Gross margin declined to 61.0% from 62.7% in the prior year.

Adjusted loss from operations totaled $33 million, compared to adjusted operating income of $78 million in the prior year. Adjusted operating margin declined to (3.2)% from 6.4% a year ago.

Michael Kors reported revenue of $694 million, reflecting a 15.6% decline on a reported basis and a 14.4% fall on a constant currency basis.
Jimmy Choo generated revenue of $133 million, down 2.9% on a reported basis and 1.5% on a constant currency basis.
&#8220;We are confident in our ability to grow Michael Kors to $4 billion in revenue and Jimmy Choo to $800 million over time while restoring operating margin to the double-digit range,&#8221; Idol added.
Versace revenue of $208 million decreased 21.2% on a reported basis and 19.7% on a constant currency basis.
On April 10, Capri Holdings said it would sell Versace to Prada for $1.375 billion in cash. The deal is expected to close in the second half of 2025. Starting in fiscal 2026, Versace will be reported as a discontinued operation.
&#8220;This transaction positions us to invest in our future growth, substantially reduce our debt levels and reinstate a share repurchase program in the future,&#8221; Idol said.
The company&#8217;s quarterly results include a non-cash tax valuation allowance of $545 million taken against the company&#8217;s deferred tax assets, of which $119 million was related to Versace.
Capri Holdings exited the quarter with cash and equivalents worth $166 million and net inventories worth $869 million.
The company&#8217;s long-term debt expanded to $1.476 billion at the end of the quarter under review, up from $1.261 billion a year ago.
Outlook: Capri Holdings expects adjusted EPS for fiscal 2026 to range between $1.20 and $1.40, above the $1.06 analyst estimate.
The company lowered its fiscal 2026 sales guidance to $3.30 billion–$3.40 billion, down from a prior outlook of $4.10 billion and below the $4.11 billion consensus.
For the first quarter, the company sees total revenue of approximately $765 million to $780 million versus the $959.91 million estimate.
The firm projects earnings per share of approximately $0.10 to $0.15 versus the $0.10 estimate.

(NASDAQ:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/GEVO#NASDAQ">GEVO</a>) is pleased to announce that it has entered into a definitive agreement to sell Agri-Energy, LLC ("Agri"), a wholly owned subsidiary of Gevo, to A.E. Innovation, LLC ("A.E.") for $7 million. The transaction includes Agri's 18-million-gallon-per-year ethanol-production facility located in Luverne, Minnesota. Gevo will retain ownership of certain isobutanol-production-related assets and a portion of the vacant land at the site for future use. With these retained assets, Gevo could potentially produce up to 1 million gallons per year of isobutanol, which can be sold as a specialty chemical, or converted into isooctane and jet fuel.
A.E., an agriculture-oriented buyer group located in Minnesota, will acquire the ethanol plant and a portion of the land with the intent to restart ethanol production, which has been idled since 2022. A.E. also intends to make the site available for other companies to scale up new technologies and ideas as an innovation hub.

Quarterly sales of $1.1 billion outpaced the analyst consensus estimate of $1.08 billion.
The company reported net sales growth of 8% yearly (Y/Y), with comparable sales growth of 4% Y/Y.

The company reported an operating income&nbsp;of&nbsp;$102&nbsp;million, compared to $130 million&nbsp;last year. Operating margin&nbsp;as a percent of sales contracted to&nbsp;9.3%&nbsp;from&nbsp;12.7%&nbsp;last year.
Abercrombie CEO Fran Horowitz said the company remains &#8220;on offense and focused on top-line growth, store expansion, and investments in digital and technology that will enable sustainable long-term success.&#8221;
As of May 3, the company had:

Share Repurchase Authorization:&nbsp;The company bought back a $2.6 billion&nbsp;for approximately $200 million, with $1.1 billion remaining on the share repurchase authorization established in March 2025.
Outlook:&nbsp;The company expects&nbsp;second-quarter&nbsp;net sales growth in the range of&nbsp;3% to 5% and EPS of&nbsp;$2.10-$2.30&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" rel="noreferrer noopener">vs&nbsp;consensus of $2.53</a>.
Abercrombie &amp; Fitch revised FY25 guidance for net sales growth to 3%&nbsp;to&nbsp;6%&nbsp;(from 3%&nbsp;to&nbsp;5% prior) and EPS to $9.50 to $10.50 (from $10.40 <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com//node/44142510" rel="noreferrer noopener">to $11.40) vs. street view of $10.75</a>.
The guidance assumes existing U.S. import tariffs: 30% on Chinese goods and 10% on other global imports.
Despite mitigation efforts, the full-year outlook includes an estimated $50 million (100 basis points of net sales) in tariff expenses.

Photronics shares are trading lower after the company reported worse-than-expected Q2 financial results and issued Q3 guidance below estimates.

Elevance Health, Inc. (NYSE:<a class="ticker" href="https://www.benzinga.com/stock/ELV#NYSE">ELV</a>) shares are trading higher premarket on Wednesday. At the investors&#8217; meeting this week, the company intends to reaffirm the full-year 2025 adjusted EPS of $34.15&nbsp;to $34.85&nbsp;<a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/calendars/guidance" rel="noreferrer noopener">(vs. consensus of&nbsp;$34.19)</a>.
Also, Elevance plans to reiterate GAAP EPS of $28.30 to $29.00, which includes approximately $5.85 per share in net unfavorable items.
Additionally, management expects to reiterate guidance for a full-year 2025 benefit expense ratio of 89.1%, plus or minus 50 basis points, and confirm that approximately 60% of the adjusted EPS is projected to be realized in the first half of the year.
In April, the company reported first-quarter 2025 revenues of $48.77 billion, up 15% year over year, higher than the&nbsp;consensus of $46.29 billion, and adjusted EPS of $11.97, <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/general/health-care/25/04/44927473/despite-medicaid-pressure-elevance-health-delivers-strong-q1-performance-reiterates-profit-outlook" rel="noreferrer noopener">beating the consensus of $11.38</a>.
The benefit expense ratio in the quarter was 86.4%, an increase of 80 basis points year over year, reflecting a higher Medicaid medical cost trend, partially offset by out-of-period premium taxes. Reuters noted that the analysts' average estimate was 86.8%.
Last week, the company&#8217;s stock tanked after the Centers for Medicare &amp; Medicaid Services said&nbsp;it would audit&nbsp;all eligible Medicare Advantage contracts for each payment year in newly initiated audits and invest additional resources to expedite <a target="_blank" href="https://www.benzinga.com/government/regulations/25/05/45554854/health-care-stocks-like-unitedhealth-cvs-tank-on-wednesday-heres-why" rel="noreferrer noopener">the completion of audits in its backlog</a>.&nbsp;
